About the Chef

I am a 20-something single female living in Baltimore, MD. Food has always been a big part of my life — due in part to my large Irish family, my Czech grandmother, my parents insisting that we eat dinner together as a family every night growing up, my high school job in a local gourmet market … the list goes on.

I love to cook. I use recipes for guidance, but I’m always throwing something in, taking something out, altering measurements, spices, and techniques.

I consider myself a creative person, and cooking is another creative outlet.

I also have been called the “pretty patrol” in my life, and I like presentation. I put bar cookies in little cupcake papers and I garnish everything.

I think maybe one day I would like to own a catering or event planning company.

For now, here’s a glimpse into my personal culinary exploits. Enjoy!

    Hi Laura!

I’m trying your banana choc. chip bread today.

I have one question for you. Why don’t you call my son by Adam instead of boyfriend? Just wondering. Can’t wait to meet you in June
